Sterling Silver Hand Inlaid damascene locket and accents in a traditional bird design from Toledo, Spain. Toledo is one of the few places left in the world where they do this by hand--hand cut and hand inlay the sterling silver into the blackened steel. This is the only locket with damascene that I have seen, so of course I got it and paired it with the two small bird pendants. These designs are centuries old. then i created the necklace- a diamond design of sterling silver twisted beads and faceted and round amethyst. Toledo damascene is not exported or sold outside of Toledo.
